The Foreigner

November 2-10, 2012

Written by Larry Shue

Directed by Keith Best

Underwritten by Armstrong Wealth and Anne and Dan Ervin

The Foreigner is the story of “Froggy” LeSeuer, a British demolition expert and his friend and side-kick, Charlie, who is terrified at the thought of making conversation with strangers. To help with Charlie’s fear, Froggy informs all they may come in contact with at the fishing lodge in rural Georgia that Charlie is from a foreign country and speaks no English. Charlie overhears the evil plans of a minister and his redneck associate. The fact that Charlie fully understands what the two evil-doers are saying fuels the hilarity of the play and sets up the wildly funny climax in which things go terribly wrong for the “bad guys”.
