JOB DESCRIPTION 
Technical Assistant, Florence Little Theater Florence, South Carolina 
Status: 25-30 hours per week, production weeks could be longer, "at-will" employee; Evenings and weekend hours required during productions, classes, rentals. 
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Reports to: Technical Director 

Provide support for the technical side of operations at the Florence Little Theatre. The goal of this position for the technical coordinator to be able to support all aspects of FLT’s technical needs. (rough carpentry, painting, or artistic experience preferred)

Potential Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Set construction, painting and decorating (includes moderate to heavy lifting)
  • Collecting materials required for the building or decorating of sets
  • Set deconstruction and organization of building materials after set is struck
  • General technical and staff support on nights of shows
  • Production Lighting support as needed
  • Production Sound support as needed
  • Building maintenance as needed (hanging plaques, installing hardware, installing shelving, cleaning fountain etc. 

Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred, background check required,
